Our PE Department hosted a friendly cricket match between male staff and our Year 7/8 boys on last Friday, 6 December after school in support of Pink Stumps Day to raise funds for 120 more breast care nurses at the McGrath Foundation.
A huge congratulations and thank you to all who donated and or purchased a pink coated cupcake or cookie, or sausage in a bun during the staff versus students cricket match.
Over $250 has been donated online and over $400 was raised on the day.
It was an entertaining cricket match enjoyed by many spectators who saw the staff take out the match with a comprehensive victory. This event will hopefully become an annual event raising money for a worthy foundation and cause.
