Students at Al Siraat show a passion for human rights issues and protecting the state of our Ummah. On the suggestion of our students, we organised a day in the previous week when students were able to wear Palestinian colours and put on lovely abayas and thobes, provided they donate a gold coin.
MashaAllah, the students were very generous with their donations. May Allah reward all who donated and may He place barakat in the donations for our Palestinian brothers and sisters.
Throughout the week, students and teachers were also encouraged to post duas and messages on a notice board outside the TEAMS building. The notice board was full of meaningful messages of support, flags, drawings and duas.
Hopefully we are able to continue to raise awareness and support for ongoing issues.
