Year 3 Incursion: Reptile Encounters

This week’s Wednesday, 14 March 2018, our Year 3 students enjoyed a very special incursion with "Reptile Encounters". During the "Feathers, Fur and Scales Show: our students learnt the difference between feathered, furry and scaly creatures in this hands-on display of animal life.

The students were very excited to get an up-close look at a

  • sugar glider possum
  • parrot
  • freshwater turtle
  • shingleback lizard
  • monitor lizard
  • pythons
  • and even a crocodile!

The students learnt about what they eat, where they live and much more. Have a look at the photos and you can see the students' reaction when meeting and greeting these feathery, furry and scaly creatures.
