Our Year 3 students recently braved the rain for an exciting visit to CERES, and what an adventure it turned out to be! Despite the wet conditions, their big smiles and enthusiasm shone through as they explored the impact of waste on the environment and discovered the importance of sustainable waste management.
Through hands-on activities and engaging discussions, the students learned all about the 6Rs: Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rot.
From sorting rubbish to understanding composting, they picked up practical tips for caring for our planet. The rain only added to the fun, making the day even more memorable!
A big thank you to CERES for an inspiring and educational experience. Our students came back buzzing with ideas and ready to make a difference!
