"This week, our Year 2 students embarked on an enriching excursion to CERES Environment Park, immersing themselves in the Indigenous Perspectives Program.
The Year 2’s engaged in a variety of hands-on activities, including learning about Dreamtime stories, practicing ochre painting, and exploring the bushland.
During the bushwalk, students had the opportunity to taste and smell a range of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ native plants while discovering their traditional uses by Indigenous ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½s.
This experience provided a vivid and meaningful connection to the rich cultural heritage of the land.
