The ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ outdoors is a place full of wonder, beauty and adventure. Come along to this free session to build your skills & confidence to help you enjoy the great outdoors within the City of Whittlesea.

Join the City of Whittlesea and Rob Richards, Emma Swann and the team from Its Naturally You for ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Bush Comfort and Confidence, an interactive and fun session helping you to enjoy the outdoors.

2 March: ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Bush Comfort and Confidence

The free 2.5 hours session will equip you with the skills to step out into the bush within the CoW and beyond. We’ll show, discuss and role-play the wondrous, bizarre, the secrets, humorous and inviting culture and landscape of the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ bush. 

Topics will include 

  • Introduction to the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Bush, with a local City of Whittlesea lens
  • your local Conservation Reserves
  • Bush Culture
  • Skills and preparation
  • Bush safety
  • Where to find help

and come along with your friends or family and start exploring the City of Whittlesea landscapes.

We will be running these sessions from the Riverside Community Centre but will also be going for a small walk, so best to wear appropriate warm clothing and sturdy shoes.
