We encourage our College community to register and be part of this year’s Earth Hour to demonstrate our support for the switch to a renewables-based economy for Australia.
WWF’s Earth Hour is the world’s biggest movement to protect our planet. Together, we have the power to create a brighter future for our planet. Millions of participants around the world will switch off their lights at 8:30 pm local time on Saturday, 22 March to demonstrate their support of the environment.
For one hour (or more) on SATURDAY, 22 March 2025, we ask that you switch off all devices and electricity in your home. Enjoy some peaceful iftar and prayer time with the family and community with warm candlelight instead.
There is no change too big or small – every switch we make will have a huge impact for our planet. Join millions around the world for the #BiggestHourForEarth
