Welcome to the beginning of another exciting year of learning, community, and personal growth at Al Siraat. Along with the rest of the ASC staff, I am very much looking forward to a happy, energetic, and positive year.
Please know that your children’s education is my utmost priority and I will do everything possible, as the Co-Founder and Principal of the College, to ensure all of our 926 students have a dynamic and memorable learning experience. Towards that end, I invite your active participation, collaboration, and feedback throughout the year. We are all in this together – students, parents, teachers and staff.
The theme for the 2019 school year is “Aim for Excellence” – a phrase that summarizes our highest intention to give it our very best, on every level.
In addition to everything else the teachers and staff of Al Siraat are doing to spark the flame of knowledge, we are, this year, paying special attention to the following:
- Improving our teaching and learning environment;
- Establishing a teacher coaching model;
- Establishing a Behaviour Support program (a different kind of approach of working with students to help them achieve their goals and co-create a positive learning environment.
For the first time in Al Siraat’s history, we are starting 2019 with less students than the previous year. This is by design – a strategic shift to ensure a higher quality education experience for everyone. One thing we’ve learned over the years is that more is not always better.
