Congratulations to our very own Ms Noori Ahmad for not only having been nominated but being one of the finalists for the "Woman of the Year" category of this year’s ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Muslim Achievement Awards to be held in Sydney on Saturday, 30 November 2019.
The ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Muslim Achievement Awards (AMAAs) are one of the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Muslim community’s most prestigious annual events, attempting to raise the profile of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Muslim individuals and organisations, promote their achievements and prominence in the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ society and encourage ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Muslims to participate and excel in areas within the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ community.
The AMAA, hosted annually by Mission of Hope, aims to acknowledge and celebrate some of our most respected community leaders from across the corporate, public and not-for-profit sectors. Now in its 13th year, the AMAA has established itself as a much-anticipated and well-respected award’s night, with a robust selection process to ensure that assessments of nominees are fair and transparent.
We are incredibly proud of Ms Noori, regardless of the final outcome and applaud her for her ongoing commitment for the betterment of our ummah and humanity, mashaAllah.
