The School Representative Council (SRC) enables students to be ambassadors of their school to the wider College community, while giving them an opportunity towards personality development and self-growth. ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ strives to give students an opportunity to have their voice heard. The Student Leadership Programs in place at the College provides students a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the College community with their ideas, opinions and feedback.
The SRC program has been running successfully in the past two years, and has seen our SRC members making a difference within the College. Whether it be raising funds to build a well for the under privileged in Bangladesh, or hosting a bake-sale to raise funds for flood victims, our student leaders have left an impact at Al Siraat, which has inspired many students to join this great team.
As in the previous years, students were given the opportunity to apply for SRC positions for 2016 as well. With many applications being received for SRC positions, our panel of judges had a difficult task in selecting the members to join our esteemed team. Alhamdulillah, the selection has now been finalized, and it gives us great pleasure to introduce our Junior SRC members for the year 2016.
A big SRC ceremony during our fortnightly Junior School Assembly was organised yesterday morning to congratulate our Primary SRC members. They were honoured with a letter of appointment and badge of honour to take the leadership role and challenge for 2016.
Our College congratulates the student leaders and wishes them all the best to take this responsibility for benefiting our community: Well done!
