Al Siraat's Year 7 and 8 boys and girls participated in the Cricket Victoria Harmony Cup on Thursday, 26 July 2018.
The boys were defending champions but unfortunately, could not retain the title. The standard in the boys' competition was exceptionally high. Most importantly though, students had fun during the very well run competition.
The girls, however, went one better than last year and were undefeated taking out the Harmony Cup. The excitement that the girls showed when receiving the cup was amazing and highlights how important it is for young ladies to participate in sport. A fantastic effort by the girls and cricket super coach Ms Layal.
In a repeat effort, Sadiqah Fatimah from Year 8G2 won the Most Valuable Player Award again, mashaAllah.
Cricket is a world sport that can bring together people all over the world and promote integration and most importantly harmony!
