The Senior girls Outdoor Education class went for a hike up Werribee Gorge during Melbourne's unexpectedly scorching hot weather earlier this term.
The high temperatures made for a very challenging excursion as some of the girls had never experienced a hike, let alone gone to explore the natural environment. The female Senior students were able to spot many wallabies, bull ants, native birds, kookaburras and lizards to name a few. They were fortunate to witness the beautiful view over the cliffs at Werribee Gorge.
Well done to the girls who took part in this adventure and encouraged each other to keep walking as there were several steep hills and rocks to climb up on.
