Our Hifz students have been working very hard in their studies and have been very active for both recess and lunchtime practising their soccer skills and match tactics.
Students were able to highlight 4 key components during their friendly match against Darul Ulum:
- Team work
- Fair play
- Encouragement and
- Strategic thinking
All of the above was displayed during their games. At the end of the match a small token of appreciation was handed to our brothers from Darul Ulum for hosting a fantastic game: Each player received a mini soccer ball to take home as a souvenir.
All students enjoyed the day and even had the opportunity to pray inside Fawkner's well known Masjid. We hope to have our friends from Darul Ulum come down to our school for a rematch, inShaAllah in the not so distant future.
