Our Student Support Department organised a lovely gathering inside our Musallah for International Women’s Day, where our Secondary girls had the opportunity to engage with three amazing speakers:
- Ms Nina Fashik of "Muslimah Mindset"
- Ms Jedda Van Rooyen of "Melbourne Muslimahs" and
- Ms Husna Acisu, our very own Primary teacher, of "Deen with Husna".
Our speakers shared their journey with the girl, both their successes and their challenges. We aimed to inspire the girls to pursue success in this world but first and foremost, strive to attain success in the akhira.
We thank our lovely speakers for taking the time to impart their knowledge and experiences on our students.
A big thank you to our wonderful Secondary Vice Captain, Mariam Siddiqui, for hosting this event. We have a TV presenter in the making with her ability to engage with our speakers and audience all while emanating a professional and mindful character.
