The last parent education seminar (PES) for 2016 was held on Monday, 17th October about the management of anxiety in students.
Our guest speaker Paula from Drummond Streets Institute provided a fantastic session which gave our parents much knowledge and understanding on the topic of 'Anxiety'. Our attendees were able to pick up valuable advice on managing anxious behaviour of their children at home, especially during the very strenuous exam times.
The session was a success with many parents requesting more sessions like these. The feedback survey from the sessions yielded a satisfaction score of 88.88% overall satisfaction.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank some of the people who have helped us successfully organise this session:
- Drummond Street Institute
- Step Families Australia
Furthermore, we extend our gratitude to our very own Ms Leah, our Maintenance Team lead by Mr Shukran and Ms Sarah Wills from the 'Parents and Friend Forum' of our College, for always supporting us in making our events a success.
With 2016 coming to an end, we are now looking forward to the PES for the upcoming year. Please feel free to send us any feedback you would like for us to consider in helping us organise the sessions to suite you best.
We are together in this journey of Transformative Education at ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ and thank you, dear parents, for being a part of our team. We will be back for more exciting topics and renowned speakers for all of us to share words of wisdom.
Thanks from our whole Well-being Department team.
