ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ held its second Arts Exhibition on Friday, 5th December, in the Primary Building. It was wonderful to see so many parents and students attending this special annual event.
After the official opening of the Exhibition and welcoming speeches by Ms Stamatia and Mr Houghton, the students were presented with Awards for Excellence in Arts.
Following this, artworks, like paintings, pottery and some Tech works (wooden doorstoppers and key rings) were on sale inside the building while the sausage sizzle attracted parents and students outside the Primary Building. Ms Aquila demonstrated excellence in clay pottery wheel throwing and students participated in print making and hand-building with clay.
The evening was a great success with lots of positive feedback given from parents. All funds raised from the artworks sale will go towards purchasing new arts resources for 2015. Art work will continue to be on sale for any parents wishing to still make a purchase.
