Year 12 Study Camp 2025

20 February 2025

Our Year 12 Study Camp was a fantastic mix of academics, teamwork, and outdoor excitement! The camp kicked off with a wellbeing and team-building session led by Ms Fatima and Ms Aseel, helping students bond and set a positive tone for the year ahead.

Students embraced a range of thrilling activities, from canoeing along serene waters and testing their aim in archery to soaring through the air on the flying fox. The camp cooking session was a fun way to build teamwork while creating delicious meals, while the indoor rock-climbing wall pushed students to new heights. Evenings were just as engaging, with Mr Azim鈥檚 Trivia Night sparking friendly competition and the campfire bringing everyone together for stories, games, and laughter.

Amidst all the excitement, academic success remained a core focus. Dedicated study sessions provided students with quiet time, expert guidance, and practical strategies to help them make the most of their study time. The balance of learning and adventure kept spirits high and minds sharp.

We鈥檙e incredibly proud of how our Year 12 students embraced both the academic challenges and the adventurous spirit of the camp. It was a memorable experience that helped strengthen friendships, build resilience, and prepare them for the year ahead.

Student Reflections:

"I truly appreciated the Year 12 camp at ADANAC. The camp gave us an opportunity to connect and form new friendships within the cohort and enjoy one last moment together before the pressures of Year 12 set in. The study tips and designated study time were particularly helpful, providing valuable strategies to maximise our study time both at school and at home. Overall, the camp was an enriching experience that greatly contributed to my academic and personal growth.鈥 - Aaliyah Farah

"I found the camp to be a wonderful opportunity for Year 12s to recharge and prepare for the difficult year ahead. It was a place where we solidified our mindset and ensured we were going into Year 12 with high aspirations.鈥 鈥 Muhammad Safwan Moosani
