Asalamu Alaikum respected Al Siraat Community
Today is my last day serving the community as Principal of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½. It has been a pleasure and a joy to walk alongside the community as we worked to build this beautiful College. During my time I have seen such tremendous progress the community can be proud of. The most important changes are not the physical buildings and grounds, they are the transformation of learning culture and Adab.
I express my gratitude to the wonderful team of staff across the College who work tirelessly to engage with the students every day. I have often said that the success of any school is directly proportionate to the quality of staff. It has been a privilege to work with such an energetic, adaptable and passionate team.
As a community there is still much work to do. I encourage all of you embrace Mr Fazeel as Principal as I have been embraced and continue to transform ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ into a world class place of learning and character development.
I pay my respects to the entire community and will leave with so many memories. The most important gift I have received is in my understanding of Islam, from the inside out, and for this I am forever grateful.
If I have done or said anything intentionally or unintentionally that has hurt or harmed you, please forgive me.
I will keep a close eye on my Al Siraat family and wish you all well for the future.
May Allah bless the entire ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Community.
Kind Regards
Andrew Houghton | Principal
